Characteristics

An all positional, medium heavy coated, iron powder type, low hydrogen electrode depositing radiographic quality welds which are highly resistant to hydrogen induced cracking.

Welds beads are smooth and spatter level is low. Works well on AC and DC.

Applications

For welding on a variety of steels providing unique low hydrogen weld deposits with superior impact resistance at room temperature and sub-zero temperatures.

Recommended applications include high pressure piping, blast furnace steel work, heavy welded fabrication, pen stocks, bridges, pressure vessels, overhead cranes, steel gears, loco frame & others. It is recommended to dry the electrodes at 200°C-250°C for 1-2 hours.
