Submerged Arc Welding

MARUTHI SW 308L

Stainless Steel Solid Wire

Characteristics

Maruthi SW 308L is designed for welding ASTM 304 type stainless steels. It can also be used for welding steels that are stabilized with titanium or niobium, such as ASTM 321 and ASTM 347 in cases where the construction will be operating at temperatures below 400˚C.

Chromium compensated agglomerated neutral flux is used it provide neat weld surfaces, very good welding properties and slag removal. The wire increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion without the use of stabilizers such as niobium or titanium.

Applications

Suitable for single layer /multi-layer welding of steel structure- Oil, Textile industries, nuclearreactor.
