An austenitic type stainless steel wire depositing low carbon weld metal with controlled ferrite for excellent crack resistance.
The weld metal has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Smooth surface finish of the wire ensures uninterrupted feeding and arc stability. Works well with Argon base gas mixtures with 1- 2%oxygen.
For MIG welding 18/8 stainless steels i.e.,AISI types 301, 302, 304 / 304L,used widely in dairy, food and chemical process plant equipment & machinery.
