An austenitic type stainless steel wire depositing weldmetal with good resistance to intergranular corrosion and hot cracking.
The weld metal has excellent creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Works well with Argon base gas mixtures with 1-2%Oxygen.
For TIG/MIG welding AISI 316 & 317 types used in chemical, fertiliser plants and other industries.
TIG welding wire in cut lengths of 500/1000mm and in diameters 1.2, 1.6, 2.0, 3.15, and 4.00 mm are also manufactured within the same chemical composition range.
