Characteristics

The combination is characterised by easy slag removal, smooth & shining weld beads in butt & fillet welds, excellent weldability on a wide range of thicknesses and weld parameters, good crack resistance & low temperature impact strength and excellent operator appeal.

Welds are of radiographic quality. Optimum results are achieved when the flux is redried at 250°C for one hour.

Applications

Suitable for single/ multi layer welding of carbon steels, low alloy steels, fine grained steels employed in the fabrication of pressure vessels, ship building cement plant machinery, sugar plant machinery, earth moving equipments where steels of the type A 285, IS 2002, A 106, A 515, A 516, etc, are used.
