Submerged Arc Welding

Maruthi SW EM 12 K

Copper Coated Solid Wire

Characteristics

The combination is characterised by good slag removal, smooth & bright weld beads in butt & fillet welds, good weldability on a wide range of thicknesses & weld parameters, tough welds with crack resistance and excellent operator appeal.

The welds are of radiographic quality. Optimum results are achieved when the flux is redried at 250°C for one hour.

Applications

Suitable for single/ multi layer welding of structural steels, boiler quality steel, employed in the fabrication of engineering structures, boilers, pressure vessels & piping, ship building etc, where steels of the type A -36, A 285, IS 2002, A106 are used.
