Low Alloy Steel

Characteristics

An all positional, low alloy steel, low hydrogen electrode depositing radiographic quality welds which are highly resistant to hydrogen induced cracking.

Other characteristics include stable arc, smooth weld beads, easy slag removal and low spatter.

Applications

Suitable for welding high tensile steels (60 kgf/mm2) low alloy steels used in pressure vessels, high temperature service equipments, bridges and heavy machinery.

Dry the electrodes at 250°C for 2 hours before use.
